Program Description
The Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Career and Technical Education Leadership degree is a professional degree program designed for individuals who want to continue their education after completing an associate degree in a technical field. This multi-disciplined degree will build upon the student's work experience and academic success and offer an avenue to earn a baccalaureate degree in career and technical education. The degree will meet the needs of the student who is in search of job training and leadership/ management skills for personal and professional advancement. The BAS in Career and Technical Education Leadership is a degree that will enable students to gain academic credibility and professional status.

Special Admission Requirements
Admission to the BAS, Career and Technical Education Leadership requires a technical associate's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
Degree Requirements
To earn a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree, students must:
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 (see requirements for graduation.)
- Satisfy General Education requirements for a Bachelor of Applied Science degree.
- Complete 120 units in total.
- 30 upper-division units must be completed at TMCC.
- Have no financial or library obligation to the college.

Program Outcomes
Students completing this degree will:
PSLO1: Program Outcome: Students will apply curriculum design skills to develop and deliver curriculum specific post-secondary career education and discipline-specific industry training.
PSLO2: Program Outcome: Students will utilize critical thinking, problem-solving skills to direct policy and action while exercising leadership techniques to guide students and industry personnel.
