Program Description

The Associate of Applied Science in Business, Office Management prepares you for success in today’s fast-paced business world by giving you the skills to keep offices running smoothly and efficiently. You’ll build a strong foundation in business communications, customer service, office procedures, and computer applications, while also gaining valuable experience with supervision, accounting, and project management. Along the way, you’ll learn how to create professional publications, manage digital business tools, and support organizational goals with confidence and professionalism. This program is designed to help you develop both technical and people skills, so you’re ready to step into a variety of administrative and management roles or continue your education toward a bachelor’s degree. Program Requirements

AAS degrees are generally non-transfer degrees designed for students to enter the workforce.

To earn an AAS degree, students must:

  1. Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 (see requirements for graduation.)
  2. Complete a minimum of 15 units within the college.
  3. Satisfy General Education requirements for the AAS.
  4. Have no financial or library obligation to the college.

Program Outcomes

Students completing the degree will:

PSLO1: Apply office technologies to complete a wide range of administrative tasks, including creating and formatting business documents, managing spreadsheets and databases, preparing presentations, and conducting online research.
