READ 135 - College Reading Strategies

Students will be able to apply a variety of reliable comprehension strategies to increase understanding of various texts.

Students will be able to apply word identification knowledge and vocabulary skills and strategies to figure out unfamiliar words.

Students will be able to demonstrate techniques for gathering, reading, and evaluating information on the internet.

Students will be able to explain the meaning of a text and critically read through engagement with an author's writing and ideas.
