APST 207 - Practical Statistics

Students will be able to identify and distinguish cases/units from variables, and identify types of variables and their levels of measurement.

Students will be able to demonstrate quantitative reasoning by identifying the appropriate statistical test for the available data, conducting such statistical tests, and interpreting their outputs accurately.

Students will be able to create hypotheses, use null hypothesis statistical testing, evaluate assumptions of statistical tests, and identify the possibility of Type I and Type II statistical errors.

Students will be able to communicate results of statistical analyses visually in graphs and tables and in written form.
